University’s Alumni Day will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Alumni
Day offers a full day of events, including:
- Award winner talks in Alexander Hall’s Richardson Auditorium: James Madison Medal: Arminio Fraga *85, Founding Partner, Gávea Investments; former President, Central Bank of Brazil and the Woodrow Wilson Award: Mitchell E. Daniels Jr. ’71, President, Purdue University; former Governor, State of Indiana
- Faculty lectures on a wide range of topics, including the search for life beyond earth, U.S. demographics, inequality at birth, the field of science journalism, and Princeton’s new online learning experiment: Coursera
- Workshops and demonstrations for the whole family
- Alumni Association Luncheon and Awards Ceremony
- Service of Remembrance
- Class receptions and dinners along with the Madison Medalist reception
- Showcase of student projects
- Campus events throughout the weekend, including art performances, athletics, exhibits, and much more
